Programs

Comsolone Tutoring Centre is focus on Mathematics and Science teaching and tutoring to high school students. Our programs are designed in accordance to the standard curriculum set out by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Each tutoring activity is designed as two hours (two sessions).
 

Mathematics

The purpose of this program is to teach student how to apply various concepts to a wide range of problems, to strengthen the student's analytical and reasoning skills.

With the assistance of our instructors, students will be able to improve their ability to construct their mathematical understanding mathematical concepts and procedures applying, algorithms performing, problem solving, and thus to excel in school, and to prepare themselves well for the workplace, college, or university.

             Foundations of Mathematics (MFM1P, MFM2P)

             Principles of Mathematics (MPM1D, MPM2D)

             Functions (MCF3M)

             Functions and Relations (MCR3U)

             Mathematics of Personal Finance (MBF3C)

             Geometry and Discrete Mathematics (MGA4U)

             Mathematics for College Technology (MCT4C)

             Mathematics for Everyday Life (MEL3E, MEL4E)

             Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U)

             Advanced Functions and Introductory Calculus (MCB4U)

             Algebra and Geometry (MAG0A)

             Calculus (MCA0A)

             Finite Mathematics (MFN0A)

 

 

Science

This program is designed to convey concepts, skills and strategies of biology, chemistry, earth and space science, and physics to technology, society, and the environment. 

Students will be tutored to improve their abilities

  • To organize, compile, interpret experimental data, and provide indirect evidence to support the development of a scientific model
  • To communicate the procedures and results of investigations and research, and the scientific information
  • To develop scientific-inquiry and representation skills
  • To be prepared to meet the university requirements of the science subjects for the admission
